Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Data Platform DevOps Engineer

Location: Portugal (must reside in Portugal)

Work Regime: Full-time & Remote

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Design and deliver the cloud infrastructure for the data platform application in AWS enabling advanced search and subscription capabilities
Define and implement the end-to-end application architecture using AWS cloud-native services to ensure scalability security and high performance
Provision and manage multiple environments (Development QA and Production) following EKS best practices
Ensure infrastructure governance standards security controls and operational best practices across all environments

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Experience with cloud platforms: AWS and Azure
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform Ansible CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD tools: GitLab Pipelines Jenkins Flux
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration: Docker Kubernetes (K8s) Kustomize
Experience with observability and monitoring tools: Elasticsearch Datadog Coralogix
Good troubleshooting skills for applications running in Java and Python
Basic understanding of data pipeline tools: Kafka Airflow
Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL database management
