Job Summary

Perform on-site installation commissioning and preventive maintenance of engineering systems and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical and control system failures promptly and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections performance evaluations and root cause analysis of equipment issues.
Prepare detailed service reports maintenance logs and technical documentation for each job.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to provide feedback on product performance and reliability.
Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement for critical components.
Respond to urgent service calls and escalate complex issues to senior engineering staff when necessary.
Utilize diagnostic tools PLCs SCADA systems and CMMS software for system monitoring and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
25 years of proven experience in field service engineering industrial maintenance or equipment support.
Strong knowledge of electrical circuits hydraulics pneumatics and control systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools multimeters oscilloscopes and troubleshooting software.
Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems is highly advantageous.
Valid driving license and ability to travel locally and occasionally to remote sites.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Familiarity with ISO standards OSHA and local safety regulations in Malaysia.
