Job Summary

Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Build and lead a team of 50 accountants within Wipro
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the US leads within Wipro
- Provide leadership and direction to the team ensuring that work priorities are organized efficiently and that the teams are actively coached trained and developed
- Be accountable for high quality accurate deliverables from the GCC
- Foster collaboration within Global Finance and other key departments across the globe
Corporate and Financial Reporting
- Oversee monthly quarterly and annual close processes and timelines and deliverables
- Plan direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions with close linkages across Procurement Payroll etc.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal controls over financial reporting
- Prepare and review reconciliations among all business groups and regions
GP Books and Reporting
- Oversee GP financial close process and all associated accounting activities and deliverables
- Manage GP capital activity processes and review of carry calculations with close collaboration with U.S. leads
Innovations
- Lead and participate in re-engineering initiatives to assess current accounting operations and recommend improvement opportunities
- Support on system implementations and technology initiatives;
- Lead the GCCs participation and contribution towards global and regional initiatives to support Blackstones strategy as relevant
