Manage OSC environments (Dev Stage Prod) and support deployment activities. Enhance and maintain PHP MVC backend logic including business rule updates and integrations. Update front-end components using JavaScript jQuery and CSS. Ensure compliance with the Ontario Design System (ODS) and accessibility standards. Implement unit and functional testing; ensure code quality and maintainability. Support role-based access control and privacy-compliant non-production environments. Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation of technical components. Architect and optimize scalable solutions across front-end and back-end systems. Lead code reviews enforce best practices and mentor junior developers. Integrate APIs and microservices for high-performance applications. Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps automation. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with OPS privacy/security processes including PIA and TRA. Experience with legacy code modernization or maintenance. Comfort with writing technical documentation and supporting knowledge transfer. Experience in public-sector digital services or emergency operations workflows. Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit Selenium Cypress). Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture.
