Job Summary
The Red Hat Solutions Architect team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Bogota this role you will become a subject matter expert for Red Hats solutions you will understand our customers technology people and processes and recommend open source solutions that solve tough business problems.
Youll take a big-picture view of the customers organization to recognize the challenges and help to overcome them with comprehensive cost-effective solutions. You will have access to new ideas that emerge in the IT world. As a Senior Solutions Architect youll always have something new to learn or a problem to solve.
What you will do:
Provide technical presales support and architect solutions that include Red Hat offerings consulting services and training
Build trusted adviser relationships with the customer or partner to gain an in-depth understanding of the customers or partners business and IT environments allowing the Sales team to best match Red Hats offerings and solutions to address the customers needs and requirements
Support customer meetings through presentations e.g. whiteboarding or formal presentations demonstrations and explanations of the value of Red Hats technologies and architected solutions
Guide engaging conversations customer relationships and architected solutions that result in sales growth
Communicate progress status and lessons learned from sales pursuits to all internal stakeholders and customers as applicable
Demonstrate the ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for product and technology roadmaps
What you will bring:
5 years of architecture experience with focus on middleware technologies
Record of working in consulting setup with background in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives
Broad and deep technical experience with middleware technologies on a delivery and architecture level specialized preferably in one of the following or equivalent solutions: cloud DevOps Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform; integration like Red Hat Fuse or Fuse software and Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization; automation or application development Java architecture with demonstrated architect-level involvement with aspects of middleware
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
Proven ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
Good balance of strategic and tactical skills
Desire to work with passionate people and make an impact
