About the role

As a Team Member of the Unley Civil and Response Team you will join a group that takes pride in maintaining and servicing The City of Unleys community and assets. This position involves civil maintenance emergency response sweeping street cleansing and sign maintenance. It also offers a diverse range of reactive works suiting an individual who thrives in a busy environment where you dont know what the next day will bring.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience in the operation of plant and equipment including backhoe excavator loader leaf blowers and chainsaws (petrol hydraulic pneumatic).

Experience responding to customer requests and proactively resolving queries within a reactive environment.

Ability to undertake construction and maintenance activities including:

Paving repairs concrete works (kerb & water table) road repairs & drainage maintenance.

Replacing and installing street signs & traffic management data collection devices in the Council area as part of a defined program.

Street and drainage cleaning graffiti removal and street sweeping; and

Line Marking experience desirable but not essential.

It will also be critical that you hold a Department of Human Services Screening or have the ability to obtain one as part of the recruitment process.
