Job Description

Electrical Trade Assistant l Full Time Casual l $35 pr hr

Opportunity:

Electrical Trade Assistant required who supports qualified electricians and service technicians in maintaining and repairing light towers generators and engines.

About the Role:

Assembly & Looming:Assisting in cable work loom making and precise assembly of electrical components for power generation equipment.
Equipment Maintenance:Helping repair and maintain plant equipment specificallyPerkins enginesandFG Wilson generators.
Workshop Support:Operating hand and power tools cleaning equipment and ensuring the workspace remains safe and organized.
Field/Site Support:Assisting with the commissioning and installation of diesel engines and mobile lighting units

Experience:

Technical Skills:Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
Tickets & Licenses:A validWhite Card(safety induction) is essential.
Forklift License (LF)
Previous experience in a workshop or heavy industrial environment is highly regarded

Benefits: $35 pr hr

38 hours/week Monday to Friday
