Our client is the ANZ distributor for some of the worlds most innovative consumer technology brands. We work at the intersection of smart home consumer electronics and emerging tech helping great products find the right customers through thoughtful service strong partnerships and operational excellence.

The Customer Support & Sales Specialist sits at the front line of our customer experience. This role is primarily email-based customer support transitioning into live chat conversations where you will help customers make confident purchase decisions and close sales. You will also provide Level 1 B2B support to retail partners assisting stores with basic product order and process-related enquiries.

What Youll Do
Youll be the kind of person who:
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email with clarity empathy and speed
  • Identify buying signals and confidently close sales via live chat and follow-up
  • Proactively follow up unresolved or high-intent customer enquiries
  • Encourage and gather customer reviews at appropriate moments
  • Provide Level 1 B2B support to retail stores including basic product order status and process enquiries
  • Escalate complex B2B issues to the appropriate internal teams when required
  • Support light operational tasks using Excel and Word
  • Follow existing processes while identifying opportunities for improvement over time


Requirements

What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
  • Experience in customer service ideally with technology or consumer electronics products
  • Strong written communication skills for both consumer and retail-facing conversations
  • Comfort with sales conversations and closing when appropriate
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Service-first mindset with commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage both B2C and B2B enquiries in a structured professional manner
  • Exposure to Shopify or related e-commerce platforms that support order management and customer transactions is a strong advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of Missive or similar collaborative email/shared inbox tools is beneficial.
