Psychology Intern MSH Adolescent Health FT Days
The Psychology Intern is a learning position in which the Intern conducts intake evaluations individual group and family therapy and counseling under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.
Conducts intake evaluations
Provides individual group and family therapy
Provides parental counseling
Provides supervision of psychology externs
Attends didactic classes/seminars for trainees
Conducts psychologist testing
Writes psychological reports
Provides case management services
Prepares clinical notes and correspondent
Maintains accurate up-to-date clinical charts
Participates in team meetings
Masters degree and doctoral level training in clinical or school psychology
2 - 3 years of part-time predoctoral clinical experience in a hospital setting. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical psychosocial educational safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned area.
