Job Summary
We are hiring full-time General Laborers for a direct hire position in the Mifflintown area. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food production / beef processing environment. If youre dependable ready to work and looking for long-term stability this is a great opportunity to start immediately.
Schedule & Pay
- Start Time: 0600
- Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts (4x10)
- Overtime: Possible on Fridays not guaranteed
- Starting Pay: $18.30 per hour
- Advancement Opportunity: Ability to bid on higher-paying positions after 30 days
- Medical Benefits: Eligible after 30 days
Orientation Details
- Orientation held every Monday
- Start Time: 0630 PROMPTLY
- Attendance and punctuality are required to begin employment
What Youll Be Doing
- Work on the beef production line filling in where needed to support daily operations
- Pack product into trays feed machines and pack finished trays or packages into boxes
- Trim and cut products as required
- Rotate between tasks based on production needs
- Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and leads
- Follow all safety sanitation and HACCP standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Properly use required safety equipment and protective clothing
What Were Looking For:
- Ability to work in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Ability to perform repetitive motions using arms hands and wrists
- Ability to reach from waist to shoulder height frequently
- Ability to bend crouch and change positions throughout the shift
- Flexibility to changing duties job rotations and production demands
- Ability to stand for long periods (2.53 hours at a time)
- Ability to lift 2535 lbs regularly
- Comfortable using knives and scissors daily

- Walking approximately 20% of the shift
- Exposure to cold heat wet conditions and wet concrete floors
- Exposure to fluorescent lighting and noise levels above 85 dB
- Hearing protection required in production areas
- Use of production machinery such as saw cutters and dicers
