Assistant Director Early Childhood Education (Entry-Level)

Pay Range: $17/hr to $20/hr
About the Role: We are seeking a motivated reliable and enthusiastic Entry-Level Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our early childhood education program. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position while gaining hands-on experience in childcare administration and program management. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to help ensure a safe structured and nurturing environment for children ranging from infants to 13 years old.
This position is designed for a dependable professional who brings positive energy strong organization and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with day-to-day operations of the childcare program
-Support curriculum implementation lesson planning and age-appropriate activities
-Help ensure the facility remains clean safe organized and compliant with state regulations
-Assist with supervising staff providing guidance encouragement and positive leadership
-Conduct routine safety and facility checks
-Communicate professionally with families staff and leadership
-Maintain accurate documentation attendance records and required reports
-Step in to support classrooms and operations as needed
-Uphold program standards with consistency structure and professionalism

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field Previous experience in a childcare preschool or school-age setting Strong communication organization and teamwork skills Ability to support curriculum planning and daily classroom activities High level of reliability professionalism and a positive attitude Must pass a background check and drug test
