Job Summary

PLEASE NOTE:

It is a 100% Onsite position in Trenton NJ
Contract for 1 Year and extendable to 4 more years

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Senior Technical Analyst serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all technical aspects. This role involves high-level software engineering cloud migration design and supporting the migration from PowerBuilder to Pega.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as technical SME for maintenance and support efforts.
Provide technical expertise for requirements definition and design processes.
Apply software engineering skills to develop new or enhanced software components.
Provide on-call technical support to the client staff (8:30 AM 5:00 PM EST MondayFriday).
Monitor Clients bug-tracking system daily to address verified bugs timely.

Requirements

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

Certification: System Architect in Pega 7 (or newer).
At least three years of experience in each of the following areas:

Supporting environmental IT projects in the public sector.
Client/server and web applications.
Sybase PowerBuilder and Sybase PowerDesigner.
Java Transaction Access Program (jTAP) Java JavaScript and AJAX.
Oracle Databases (developing PL/SQL procedures functions packages triggers).
Atlassians JIRA Project Management Software.
Managing/executing IT projects using Agile methodologies.

Specific Technical Skills:

Experience designing and implementing Cloud-based infrastructures and migrating non-cloud systems to the cloud.
Experience in Business Objects (v4.2 or newer) and Tableau (v2019.1.4 or newer) development.
Experience designing/implementing GIS interfaces and integrations with Pega workflows.

PREFEERED QUALIFICATION:

Prior experience with the client systems (NJEMS RSP OPRATS etc.).
