Job Summary

Job Title: Network Engineer IV DOCSIS / WiFi

Location: Englewood CO

Work Type: Onsite (4 days/week)

Employment Type: Contract C2C

Visa requirement: All except OPT/CPT

Experience: 8 - 10 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer IV with strong expertise in DOCSIS and/or WiFi technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cable network infrastructure CPE devices firmware/log analysis and advanced troubleshooting in lab and production environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience with DOCSIS 3.0 3.1 and 4.0
Strong experience with CPE DOCSIS devices and network infrastructure
Hands-on knowledge of AIDMA and OFDMA
Solid understanding of RF fundamentals
Experience with:

Cable Modem configuration files
CPE DOCSIS (CM) CMTS iCMTS
Wi-Fi firmware log analysis and CPE operations

Ability to identify modem-related issues and perform:

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Device and performance analysis

Experience building and validating network testing labs (switches PDUs modems ONUs)
Strong Linux experience:

Jump boxes Bash scripting
SSH key authentication
Developer and diagnostic tooling

Programming/scripting experience with:

Python Perl Shell
SQL
REST APIs

Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
Strong experience with Wi-Fi firmware connectivity and log analysis
In-depth understanding of WiFi protocols and behavior
Experience supporting CPE operations and WiFi devices

Preferred Skills:

Cable/MSO environment experience
Lab automation or test framework exposure
Strong documentation and communication skills
