About the Role
Palisade Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced Multi-Family Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up and large-scale residential construction projects. This role is responsible for managing all phases of construction from pre-construction through project closeout ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in multi-family residential construction including wood framing and structural concrete and thrives in a fast-paced detail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans schedules and budgets
- Ensure construction activities progress according to the established timeline; proactively mitigate and report delays
- Lead weekly project meetings with clients consultants subcontractors and internal teams
- Coordinate all project stakeholders including owners architects engineers subcontractors and field teams
- Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines quality standards and safety regulations
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and project specifications
- Review project drawings and specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
- Identify and resolve constructability issues before and during construction
- Interpret and communicate plans specifications and contract requirements to all project participants
- Solicit bids award contracts and manage subcontractors across multiple trades
- Prepare and administer subcontracts change orders and contract modifications
- Track project costs manage financial reporting and minimize risk exposure
- Review approve and process subcontractor and vendor payment applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reporting
- Address project challenges by resolving conflicts handling complaints and negotiating solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client ensuring satisfaction and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee project closeout including punch list completion final inspections and turnover documentation
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in:
- Multi-family residential construction
- Wood-frame construction
- Structural concrete projects
