We are seeking experienced Inspectors to support a long-term project in Oregon. This is a multi-year opportunity offering steady work consistent daytime hours and potential overtime depending on project demands. Inspectors will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable Oregon building codes safety standards and approved plans across commercial and residential projects.
Project Duration
This is a long-term assignment expected to last 3 years providing stability and growth opportunities.
Work Schedule
- Primary shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Overtime and shift adjustments (including night work) may be available based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform building structural mechanical fire/life safety or specialty inspections as assigned
- Review construction activities for compliance with Oregon codes and approved plans
- Conduct site inspections and document findings clearly and accurately
- Coordinate with contractors engineers and project stakeholders
- Identify code violations and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Maintain inspection records and reports in accordance with project requirements
Experience Requirements
- Preferred: 5 years of inspection experience
- More experience is strongly valued; however years of experience are not a strict requirement
- Experience working on large or long-term projects is a plus
Required Certifications (Oregon or Equivalent)
Candidates must hold current Oregon certifications or the equivalent national certification listed below:
- ICC B3 Building Plans Examiner Oregon Structural Plans Examiner A-Level (PEA)
- ICC B2 Commercial Building Inspector Oregon Structural Inspector A-Level (SIA)
- ICC M2 Commercial Mechanical Inspector Oregon Mechanical Inspector A-Level (MIA)
- ICC F3 Fire Plans Examiner Oregon Fire & Life Safety Plans Examiner (PEF)
- ASSE 60 Medical Gas Inspector Oregon Medical Gas Plumbing Inspector (MGI)
- ICC B1 Residential Building Inspector Oregon Residential Structural Inspector (CAS)
- ICC R3 Residential Plans Examiner Oregon Residential Plans Examiner (CAX)
Holding multiple certifications is highly preferred.
