Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Southland Organics is seeking a dedicated Chat Support Agent to join our Environmental Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for our customers providing timely and accurate support through live chat. Location: United States (Remote)

Key Objectives

  • Deliver prompt clear and helpful assistance to customers via chat.
  • Resolve inquiries related to our environmental services products and processes.
  • Maintain a positive and professional communication style that reflects Southland Organics values.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on common customer concerns and service enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer questions and concerns through live chat in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist customers with order tracking service information and troubleshooting.
  • Document customer interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and effective customer support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Southland Organics services policies and environmental initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience that aligns with the companys sustainability goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service preferably in chat support or a related role.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of environmental services or a willingness to learn about sustainability practices.
  • Comfortable using chat platforms CRM systems and other customer support tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset with patience and empathy for customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with environmental terminology and Southland Organics mission is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts if needed to support customer demand.

Required Skills:
