Designation: Engineer Test Engineering (Debug)
Location: Hyderabad
Role Summary
The Engineer Test Engineering (Debug) is responsible for debugging and troubleshooting test failures in a production environment. The role focuses on tester and fixture validation reducing debug turnaround time (TAT) and providing effective production support to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform debugging and troubleshooting of test failures at board and system level.
Validate testers and test programs to ensure accuracy repeatability and compliance with specifications.
Validate and maintain test fixtures ensuring proper functionality and minimal downtime.
Analyze and improve debug Turnaround Time (TAT) to support production targets.
Prepare and maintain Debug IN/OUT reports including failure analysis details and corrective actions.
Provide production support by resolving test-related issues and minimizing line stoppages.
Work closely with Manufacturing Quality and Design teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Support NPI builds by validating test coverage and debug readiness.
Document debug procedures test issues and solutions for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Experience in test engineering or production debug in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong hands-on skills in fault isolation and troubleshooting.
Experience with tester and fixture validation processes.
Understanding of production test flows and reporting.
Good analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
