Job Title: Truck & Trailer Mechanic
Job Summary
Location: MoloNakuru
We are looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic to inspect diagnose service and repair articulated trucks and trailers. The role involves maintaining vehicles in good working condition to ensure safety reliability and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic faults on trucks and trailers
Carry out routine servicing maintenance and inspections
Repair engines gearboxes brakes suspension axles and air systems
Inspect trailers coupling systems and chassis for faults or wear
Identify faults using diagnostic tools and manual checks
Replace or repair worn and damaged parts
Ensure all repairs meet safety and road worthiness standards
Keep basic maintenance and repair records
Respond to breakdowns when required
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop
Requirements
Requirements / Qualifications
Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic / Heavy Duty Mechanic
Experience working on articulated trucks and trailers
Good knowledge of diesel engines and air brake systems
Ability to diagnose faults accurately and work with minimal supervision
Mechanical training trade test or technical certification is an added advantage
Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good teamwork and communication skills
