About the Role
Aegis Health seeks a dynamic Mechanical HVAC Technician to undertake day to day maintenance and operational monitoring of the engineering infrastructure at Aegis Health Murdoch assets in a permanent full-time position.
As an integral part of the team you will.
Provide service maintenance and repairs to various types of mechanical and air conditioning asset and systems.
Diagnose and resolve system breakdowns. Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service.
Maintain situational awareness of the status of all site building infrastructure.
Utilise testing instruments tools and equipment as necessary including the use of mobile handheld devices.
Maintain a safe and organised work environment following all relevant health and safety procedures.
Assist the Service Coordinator with scheduling of work organising and coordinating resources scoping and determining priorities.
Document all repair and maintenance activities in detailed records. Preparation and submission of service reports.
Perform asset commissioning and performance monitoring where required.
Support the Building Service Manager to Implement continuous improvement initiatives focusing on the overall quality of service delivery of Aegis Health services.
Undertake allocated periodic planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Be part of the on-call roster providing support to stake holders out of hours.
About You
Experience with HVAC systems in commercial settings.
Hold a current Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with Restricted electrical licence
Foster a collaborative team spirit focused on service delivery.
Take personal responsibility for resolving customer problems.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Well-developed organisational Communication & time management skills ability to show initiative work effectively under pressure and work within set timeframes.
Experience within a Hospital Maintenance Environment (Desirable).
Competent in commissioning HVAC systems using BMS controls.
High risk work licenses; Working at Height. Confined Space.
Experience using BMS trending for Building services fault finding (Desirable)
