Job Summary

Job Title - Sales and Marketing Officer
Location - Lagos

Our client is one of the leading insurance firms in Nigeria with locations across different states in Nigeria. They provide life insurance business and non-life insurance business services to organizations and private individuals.

The company is seeking to hire a Sales and Marketing Officer who will be responsible for driving business growth managing client relationships and expanding the companys market share within the competitive insurance landscape. This role is ideal for a target-driven professional who excels at identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

The ideal candidate must be a persuasive communicator with a strong understanding of the Nigerian insurance market and a passion for achieving ambitious sales milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and reach out to prospective individual and corporate clients to pitch both life and non-life insurance products.
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve monthly and annual premium targets.
Conduct detailed needs assessments for clients to recommend the most appropriate insurance policies and coverage levels.
Manage and maintain long-term relationships with existing policyholders to ensure high retention rates and cross-selling opportunities.
Facilitate the policy documentation process and provide necessary support to clients during the claims process.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable feedback to the management team.

Requirements

Degree in Marketing Business Administration Insurance or any related field.
Proven experience in sales or marketing preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Deep knowledge of insurance products (Life and General) and the regulatory environment in Nigeria.
Ability to work independently manage a sales pipeline and meet strict deadlines.
Professional appearance and a results-oriented mindset.
