Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 3 months including Medicare and Medicaid enrollment

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Upper endoscopy (EGD)

Colonoscopy

ERCP (mid-level / moderate complexity)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Kentucky medical license/IMLC

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

DEA: Active DEA required

Certifications: As required for gastroenterology hospital privileges

Experience: General gastroenterology with ERCP capability

Other Qualifications: Strong communication skills and relationship-focused patient care approach

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outpatient clinic-based gastroenterology care

Perform inpatient and outpatient endoscopic procedures

Participate in shared call coverage

Collaborate with APPs and hospital staff to deliver coordinated care

Build strong relationships with patients and families while managing complex care needs
