Job Summary
The University of Chicagos Department of Medicine Section of General Internal Medicine is seeking full-time faculty at the rank of assistant professor or associate professor. Clinical responsibilities include seeing patients in our academic primary care clinic and/or affiliated sites as well as opportunities to attend on the inpatient general internal medicine teaching service consult services and/or other clinical programs. Educational responsibilities will include teaching students from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and residents from the University of Chicago Internal Medicine and Med-Peds residency programs. Scholarly activity can be either self-identified or aligned with established section and departmental interests and priorities. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and 3) be board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med/Peds).
