Job Summary

  • Support and administer aPay and associated systems to ensure accuracy compliance and efficiency of payroll operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and system optimisation to strengthen compliance and improve automation of processes.
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $95231 $100643 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

Payroll Operations within People & Culture supports the delivery of accurate compliant and efficient payroll services for a diverse workforce. The team operates in a complex environment and is committed to service excellence continuous improvement and system optimisation.

About the opportunity

  • Provide daytoday support administration and troubleshooting of the Universitys payroll system and associated systems to ensure accurate compliant and efficient payroll operations.
  • Support system upgrades patches testing and implementation activities working closely with IT and vendors to resolve issues and enhance system functionality.
  • Contribute to system improvement initiatives through process reviews documentation training materials and the identification of automation and optimisation opportunities.

About you

  • You have a genuine interest and desire to grow your career in supporting and administering information systems.
  • You bring strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret policies procedures and legislation and apply them within a payroll systems context.
  • You have experience supporting system testing upgrades and enhancements with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively produce highquality documentation and work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • You bring a customerfocused approach and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders across People & Culture and the wider University.
