Purpose

Lead and supervise the IB Commercial Regionalization & Transformation teams and ensure that business strategies plans and initiatives are carried out or complied with in accordance with current internal regulations policies and procedures

What Youll Do:

Lead the implementation of the Regional Commercial Banking Operating Model defining the As-Is operating models and assisting with the definition of the To-Be Operating model by defining value-driven objectives analyzing As-Is operating models and identifying optimization opportunities with target KPIs. This includes redesigning processes and activities defining required roles and structures determining necessary systems and tools for implementation establishing governance models with clear decision-making levels and creating performance metrics to evaluate results against objectives.

  • Implement Solutions and Co-Develop New Work and Operating Models
    • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to define the As-Is operating model identify pain-process points and analyze root causes.
    • Define the To-Be operating model and identify key changes.
    • Develop and execute a change management plan.
    • Identify necessary technological changes and implement solutions to enable new processes.
    • Define action plans for initiatives hypotheses and value capture strategies.
    • Execute initiatives to achieve project goals.
  • Identify Improvement Opportunities and Prioritize Actions
    • Quantify the potential value of identified improvements and develop business cases.
    • Define hypotheses and conduct analyses to validate them.
    • Identify define and assess initiatives and solutions to quantify their impact.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and potential benefits.
  • Project Alignment and Execution
    • Work closely with the Project Director business leaders and functional areas to align objectives and project plans.
    • Lead the design and implementation of defined proposals and solutions.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure execution and value creation.
    • Define objectives and success criteria in coordination with the Project Director and business/functional leaders.
    • Ensuring successful execution of planned initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain detailed implementation tracking mechanisms to monitor progress across all transformation initiatives
    • Execute value capture measurement processes and create regular reports on benefits realization
    • Implement change management plans including coordinating training sessions communication materials and adoption metrics
    • Create and distribute project status updates and progress reports to all relevant stakeholders
    • Identify and analyze potential obstacles through regular check-ins with project teams and stakeholders
    • Build and maintain an issue resolution framework including escalation paths and mitigation strategies

  • Change Management and Monitoring
    • Co-design and implement comprehensive change management programs
    • Conduct regular check-ins with project teams to identify potential impediments and gather feedback on implementation challenges
    • Prepare and deliver structured progress reports including obstacle analysis and proposed resolution approaches for leadership review

  • Maintain Strong Communication with the Project Director
    • Identify and escalate project risks and impediments.
    • Propose actions to mitigate challenges and define action plans alongside the Project Director.

  • Team Leadership
    • Lead teams of people including direct reports and stakeholders teams.
    • Define priorities and action plans for the team.
    • Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
    • Develop team members analytical communication and execution capabilities.
    • Provide continuous feedback on team members performance.
    • Define actions to enhance team members skills based on their strengths and improvement areas.
    • Responsible for providing induction to the position to each new contributor to the team (whether for new income promotion or side change) providing general information about the Bank (vision mission and culture) as well as explaining its job description key roles and objectives in order for the collaborator to place their role within the Bank by strengthening their sense of belonging and reduce the time of the learning curve.
    • Understands the Banks risk culture and how risk appetite should be considered in daily activities and decisions.
    • Creates an environment where your team performs efficient and effective operations in their respective areas while ensuring compliance and effectiveness of daily business controls in order to comply with obligations aimed at reducing operational risk the risk of regulatory noncompliance the risk of money laundering and financing of terrorism and conduct risk which include the responsibilities established under the Operational Risk Management Framework the Risk Management Framework for Regulatory Compliance the International Manual Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

What Youll Bring:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree required.
  • Postgraduate studies preferred (e.g. Masters in Business Administration Public Administration or Operations Research.
  • 3 to 10 years of work experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Development of business cases.
  • Experience in transformation projects.
  • Experience in consulting projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Access Power BI).
  • High proficiency analytical and problem-structuring capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation written and oral communications.
  • Strong delivery & Stakeholder Management
  • Leadership and team development expertise.
  • Negotiation skills.
