Job Summary
The ideal candidate has a strong track record in communications. To be successful in this role you will need excellent communications skills writing ability and initiative and to be comfortable with ambiguity and have a strong sense of ownership. You should have experience delivering results with high standards under tight deadlines ideally in a complex organization.
Key job responsibilities
Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and the evolving AI landscape and develop new earned owned and paid communications approaches that help reach audiences
Develop drive and support product communications plans programs and content in support of Amazons Shopping business
Have interest in AI and other technologies that help make shopping even more convenient and fun
Provide communications counsel to business leaders
Help manage reputational issues
- 5 years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of key technology and market trends
- Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines or experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Can work proactively and independently meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Interest in technology retail and emerging shopping trends
- Track record of exercising high judgment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
