About the role

We are looking forCoordinator Plant Shutdown to support the people scheduling and coordinating activities of the Supervisor as well as coordinate daily operational activities ensuring they are aligned to planned development and production forecasts and budgets.

Youll be part of a friendly team supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. Youll work on a fly in fly out 8 days on; 6 days off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.

Reporting to the Supervisor Plant Shutdown you will;

• Appointment as Statutory Supervisor under WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 with the functions as per Schedule 26
• Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
• Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
• Pro-actively coordinate and support planned shutdown execution activities
• Provide technical and safety support to shutdown supervisors and maintainers
• Expert in maintenance systems such as SAP Critical Orders warranty work and shutdown management
• Prioritise emerging and break in work in shutdowns by coordinating logistics labour and materials

What youll bring

• Relevant trade qualification (mechanical electrical fabrication)
• Effective shutdown coordination and management
• Expert in operations systems such as SAP Critical Orders Warranty and Work Management Shutdown Scheduling and Planning
• Trained in Work & Shut Management Process
• Understanding of work management and business solution processes
• People leadership communication and self-motivation
• A Current Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
• Statutory Position Legal Exam Statutory Supervisor required

Where youll be working

The Marandoo mine is located at the foot of Mount Bruce adjacent to the Karijini National Park 50 km east of the town of Tom Price. Marandoo is known for its picturesque hills and mountain ranges. Our operation currently employs a fly-in fly-out workforce.
