Job Summary

Hi were Oscar Medical Group. Were hiring a Physician to join our Virtual Health Assessment team.

At Oscar Medical Group we are refactoring healthcare. We want to help each of our members achieve their healthcare goals in a personalized way. About the role:

This is a part-time employed role.

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST

Friday & Saturday 8am - 6pm EST

Requirements:

  • Provide 20-29 hours of coverage per week.
  • Minimum shift length of 4 hours

You will deliver quality care to patients on Oscars platforms via phone and messaging. You will also serve as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers.

You will report into the Director Virtual Health Assessment

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $90 - $118 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
  • Provide medical care virtually (by phone video & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines practices and policies
  • Collaborate with MAs RNs and other providers across service lines
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Must be licensed in TN and at least two of the following: MO MS AL FL
  • Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance working with our licensing vendor
  • 3 years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
  • Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies including HCC coding principles
  • Familiarity with HEDIS measures including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement

Bonus points:

  • 2 years of Telemedicine experience
  • IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply
  • Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
