Comms-Care Finance Lead
About the Job
This role is central to our mission of driving operational excellence and financial integrity across Ingram Micro UK&I. Youll have the chance to make a real difference by shaping the direction of a newly created finance function implementing strong financial controls and enabling smarter decision-making through insightful reporting and leadership.
What you can expect to be getting up to as a Comms-Care Finance Lead
As the senior on-site Finance lead in Northwich youll lead a team of three shaping operations and performance through the key responsibilities that follow:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting compliant with US GAAP and Ingram Micro accounting policies
- Own statutory audit processes and build effective relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Enhance the financial control environment and consult with the UK&I Head of Finance on technical matters
- Partner with FP&A to develop decision-driving financial reports and performance metrics
- Support regional and global finance queries and act as primary escalation contact for financial matters
- Lead and mentor 2 direct reports fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and development
To set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:
Experience in Finance control roles
Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA)
Experience with SOX Compliance & Internal Controls
Experience working within a US GAAP framework
Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT
ERP implementation exposure
Proven ability in developing and managing internal control frameworks
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Relationship-building mindset and confidence to challenge the status quo
