First Academy is a growing Christian school in Rogers Arkansas. Housed within First Baptist Rogers FA is open to PK3-7th grade students with plans expanding to middle school in 26-27 and planning to continue to grow into an upper school in forthcoming years.
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Middle School Principal for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Overview
The Middle School Assistant Principal supports the Principal by overseeing the daily leadership of grades 47 and coordinating key K7 programs. This role helps teachers supports students and families guides curriculum and instruction and leads specials fine arts athletics and extracurricular activities. The Assistant Principal works to ensure a safe orderly and Christ-centered school environment where students can learn and grow.
Education and Experience
- Masters degree in Education
- Minimum of 2 years of middle or upper school teaching
- Leadership or administrative experience a plus
- Experience leading sports and extracurricular programs a plus
- Christian school experience is a plus
Personal Qualities
- Credible profession of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ
- Godly character (pastoral and other character references may be required)
- Membership at First Baptist Rogers
- Understanding of the schools mission and support of the philosophy and pedagogy practices
- Teachable and committed to growing learning and developing new understanding and skills
- Understanding of and ability to integrate a biblical worldview into all aspects of school and programs

Job Responsibilities
Special Classes Supervision:Provide leadership guidance scheduling and support tostaff inspecialsclasses including library PE art music technology and future special classes like foreign curriculum expectations and maps are created and follow school the scheduling and planning for special forgrades K-7.
ExtracurricularOpportunities:Ensurethat clubs and activities are offered sponsored and expectations are developed and written for those opportunities including clubs and activities likemissionsclub Quiz Bowl student council and other special interest for grades 4-7.
Fine Arts and Sports Program Management:Identifyopportunities for sports teams forthe schoolgrades facilities coaches and other needs to implement a growing sports program for students in school sports that include conference alignment. Build fine arts programs that focus on quality and performance inbandchoirart and theatre.
Strategic Planning: Work with school principal parents board FBC Rogers leadership and more stakeholders tocreate vision for the middle and upper school as we grow including opportunitiesin academics fine arts extracurriculars and sports. Work with the leadership team to execute the vision of the upper school including facility personnel and other program needs.
Curriculum Development and Implementation:Assist in developing and ensuringcontent and curriculum in elementary classrooms align with state and ensure maps are updated for all subjects and grade levels4-7.
Teacher Partnership:Provide guidance and support on best practices for teachers in implementingeducational contentin team meetings to ensure instruction and expectations are consistent from classroom-to-classroom and evaluation andwalk throughs of allspecialsteachersactivityand fine arts classes andteachersgrades 4-7.
Professional Development:Work with the schoolprincipalinidentifyingareasand specific training for staff in professional development.
Discipline Management:Oversee student expectations and discipline in grades4-7in alignment with the schools handbook with staff and parents as neededregardingdiscipline matters of consistent disciplineconcerns with students or severe misbehavior incidents work with lead school principal indeterminingconsequences and parent communication.
Parent Partnership:Engage families in a warm Christlike visible and consistent with parents at all rapport by learning about families talking with them and praying for to parent concerns and praises with kindness promptness andprofessionalism. Help find ways for parents to take active roles in their students school life and how to support the school.
Hiring and Onboarding:In conjunction with school principal review interview andmake recommendations fornew staffhires in helping orient new hires to school expectations procedures and values so they become a welcomed member of the Falcon Family.
Leadership Team:Collaborate with school principal andelementaryschool assistant principal to build aschool culture built on Biblical values that honor God. Meet consistently with the leadership procedures that needto be addressed.
Administrative Duties:Assistin building the school schedule including special classes developing duty schedules chapel speakers and themes events andexperiences as needed. Uphold all school policies.
Other areas:FollowsMatthew 18:15-17 model for handling teaching and non-teaching tasks with attention to quality detail timeliness and licensure.
