What were looking for:
We are looking for a SDE-1 to join our rapidly expanding Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Android Application Development Design develop and maintain high-quality Android application.
- End-to-End Ownership Own features end to end including design discussions implementation testing release and post-release support.
- Performance & Reliability Optimize applications for performance memory usage battery efficiency and responsiveness.
- Testing & Quality Assurance Write and maintain unit integration and UI tests to ensure robust and reliable mobile experiences.
- Security & Compliance Implement mobile security best practices including secure storage network security permission handling and Play Store compliance.
- Collaboration Work closely with product managers designers backend engineers and QA to deliver well-integrated mobile solutions.
- Release & Maintenance Participate in CI/CD pipelines manage Play Store releases monitor crashes and address ANRs and production issues.
- Best Practices Follow Android platform guidelines architectural patterns and ensure backward compatibility across supported OS versions.
Skills:
Android Development (Primary Focus)
- 45 years of hands-on Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good knowledge of Java
- Solid understanding of Android architecture components: MVVM / ViewModel / LiveData
- Experience with:
- RecyclerView custom views complex layouts
- Background processing (WorkManager Services)
- App lifecycle and configuration changes
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with local storage (Room SharedPreferences)
- Experience with debugging profiling and performance optimization
- Good understanding of Play Store release process and versioning
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
iOS Development (Good to Have)
- Hands-on experience with iOS development using Swift
- Familiarity with:
- UIKit / SwiftUI
- Experience with Auto Layout Storyboards XIBs programmatic UI
- Hands-on with REST APIs JSON parsing
- Knowledge of CoreData
- iOS app lifecycle and app store submissions
- Experience working on shared product features across Android and iOS
