Join Our Team as an Automation Engineering Co-op at Johnson Electric!
Location: Ancaster ON Canada (Onsite)
Salary Range: $22-$24 per hour
Vacancy Type: Co-op Position
Schedule: Full-time Day shift
Relocation: Not Applicable
Travel: Minimal
As our next Automation Engineering Co-op youll be at the forefront of supporting Continuous Improvement projects involving PLCs and robotics. Your technical skills and hands-on approach will help us standardize processes troubleshoot equipment and drive efficiency across our operations.

What Youll Be Doing
Coordinate and assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Create and update work instructions and cell setup documentation.
Perform data collection measurement studies troubleshooting and equipment process improvements.
Collaborate with production operators and technicians to document and standardize processes.
Assist in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Ensure compliance with Johnson Electric Production Systems and ISO standards.
Perform other related duties as required.
What Were Looking For
Currently pursuing a technical degree or diploma.
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset.
Strong AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Independent and self-motivated with a Can Do attitude.
Hands-on experience is a PLUSthis is a hands-on role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
