Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Home Job Overview:

Large Nursing Home striving to meet or exceed the personal and clinical needs of the residents to achieve their potential for self-determination and independent living in a safe and hazard free environment.
Performs acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge judgement and nursing skill based upon the principles of psychological biological physical and social sciences.
Utilizing nursing process of assessment planning intervention and evaluation in the provision of patient care
Provide care counsel and health teaching to the ill injuredor infirmed
Promote health maintenance and prevention of illness
Perform medical treatment and administer medications as prescribed intervenes when emergency care is required.
Supervise teach and delegate nursing care activities
Serve as a member of patients treatment teams
Assist medical and other professionals in the provision of care
Perform nursing assessments on new admissions
Document essential entries
Check lab work orders and specimens prior to submission
Conduct and attend training
Explain plan of care to patients and families
Schedule patients treatments in other units/facilities
Follow established policies and procedures

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Home Job Qualifications:

RN Licensure: active current unrestricted. KY or Compact.
New graduates welcomed
Ability to pass facility requirements
