The Pursuit and Capture Team is crucial for securing significant deals within the U.S. federal market. We lead the strategy for complex opportunities coordinating diverse internal teams to ensure Workday is strategically positioned to win high-value government contracts.
About the Role: We are seeking a professional to lead the full federal proposal lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between complex RFP requirements and a winning value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Partner with Capture and Sales to shape win strategies conduct competitive analysis and clearly articulate value propositions.
Proposal Management: Lead cross-functional teams (SMEs writers editors) through the entire process managing schedules resources and performance.
Content & Compliance: Translate solicitation requirements into compliant outlines and compelling content while ensuring strict adherence to FAR/DFARS regulations.
Execution: Oversee writing editing pricing alignment and final packaging/delivery.
Continuous Improvement: Support post-submission clarifications/orals and lead lessons-learned reviews to refine templates and processes.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of ten years of experience in federal government proposal development.
Minimum of ten years of experience understanding of FAR and other relevant regulations
Minimum of ten years of experience demonstrating strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Membership in professional organizations related to proposal management (e.g. APMP)
Other Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace and proposal management
software.
Travel may be required for training conferences or client visits.
U.S. Citizenship is required

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants.
