We are currently looking for a Seasonal Customer Service Representative at our location in Lantz Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and support the sales function by:
What youll do
Responsibilities
Providing exceptional customer service
Processing orders in our ordering software system Syspro (training will be provided)
Invoicing keeping track of transport fleet and pallet credits.
Quoting customers for bulk and packaged products
Ordering products monitoring inventory and coordinating customer orders with our sales team
Working closely with other divisions of The Shaw Group (mainly Shaw Brick) to process combined orders for commercial and retail center clients.
Prioritizing orders by pick up or delivery dates and work with Shaw Transport on scheduling.
Work with production on customer requirements to assist production scheduling.
Managing inventory and keeping the team and customers informed
Create customs documents for orders crossing the border to the US.
Gathering new data and assisting sales staff
Updating and managing price lists and communications to sales team and customers
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
The ability to multi-task prioritize and pay close attention to detail.
A self-starter and results focused attitude.
Strong ability to accept change and assist in process change management.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Access knowledge is an asset)
