Our Finance Department is hiring a Financial Reporting Accountant for a hybrid position in our Rockville MD office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statement reporting deliverables (P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow) for internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare a monthly financial reporting package for leadership including variance analysis trend commentary and key reporting schedules
• Prepare debt reporting support schedules and monthly/quarterly lender reporting package components ensuring accuracy and consistency with financial statements
• Partner with GL Accounting and FP&A to gather inputs validate results and resolve reporting discrepancies prior to final distribution
• Maintain and update reporting templates and supporting schedules ensuring timely delivery and strong documentation
• Assist with audit support and reporting requests by compiling financial data tie-outs and supporting schedules
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing reporting support historical actuals and variance insights

What Were Looking for:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• 5 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Public accounting is a strong plus
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
