• Completion of a Bachelor of Education
• Must have a diploma at a recognized institute (e.g. BCIT VCC OCC) in technical studies including Drafting Woodwork Metalwork Electronics and Auto Mechanics is required
• Must have completed a teaching practicum in technical education
• Membership in or eligible to become a member in the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
• Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service
