The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of automated tests for our financial systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with the development squad to define and implement new automated tests ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable software solutions.

Location: Pune

Experience: 6 to 10 Years

Education: B.E/ end-to-end business processes across the fraud lifecycle (detection investigation disposition reporting) in multiple regional configurations

  • Perform ad-hoc exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and improve test coverage in complex high-velocity environments
  • Responsibility of full Automatio Test lifecycle
  • Support and drive analysis and solution of new automation test cases based on requirements and bug fixes
  • Tasks

    • Design execute and document manual test cases test plans and test strategies for fraud detection workflows including admission rule-based scoring anomaly detection escalation and case management
    • Particpate in writing Acceptance criteria on different levels
    • Collaborate with QA automation engineers to identify manual testing gaps and assist in creating robust automated regression suites when appropriate
    • Validate data integrity reconciliation and processing accuracy across components
    • Verify system behavior under peak load scenarios and high transaction throughput (target 500 TPS) using realistic test data and synthetic workloads
    • Assess non-functional requirements: performance reliability scalability security and accessibility considerations
    • Create and maintain defect reports with clear repro steps expected vs. actual results severity and traceability to requirements.

    Technical Skills:

    • Final degree (university or technical college) in software testing software engineering or equivalent education
    • 4 years of hands-on manual testing experience in financial services or fraud/anti-fraud domains preferably with high-volume transaction processing
    • Strong ability to create and maintain comprehensive test cases test plans and defect reports.
    • Familiarity with test data management in data centric systems
    • Experience in non-functional requirement testing (performance reliability scalability security etc.)
    • Certifications related to software testing (ISTQB CTFL) are a major plus
    • Good practical experience in working with JIRA
    • Comfortable with agile approaches
    • Understanding Business requirements.
    • Familiar with different Automation frameworks ( Understanding & Usage)
    • experience in API testing Batch testing and UI.
    • Working exp with Putty WINSCP.
    • Experience in fraud detection systems or Payment business is a major plus
    • English business fluent.
