The Event Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling the Earl Miller Japanese Garden by recruiting events to utilize the space. The Specialist will be responsible for planning organizing and executing a variety of events within the Earl Miller Japanese Garden space. They are responsible for event sales planning and administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation and success of each event.

Education: Equivalent to a bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Business or a related field required.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in event planning sales or a related role required 5 years preferred.
This position will be expected to work evenings and weekends as events require.
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) or similar certification is preferred but not required.
