Wonderful Scholar Summer Internship, Post-Harvest Research and Development

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer this position you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals. This position will be based on site (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Heres what youll do:

• Be an active member of the Postharvest team supporting day-to-day initiatives
• Develop trial protocols and assist with conducting trials related to postharvest treatments and quality management
• Support the investigation of recurring outages within treatment application systems
• Participate in Postharvest meetings and cross-functional discussions

Qualifications :

Heres what youll bring to the table:

• Must be an active Wonderful Scholar
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Plant Ag or Crop Science Business or related
• Must be 18 years of age or older Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
