Seed Health Development Lead

Join our innovative Quality Control team as a QC Seed Health Development Lead where youll shape the future of vegetable and flower seed testing. This exciting position combines scientific expertise with leadership managing cutting-edge projects in seed health test development. Youll lead a talented team of 8 professionals while collaborating with global stakeholders to drive innovation in seed quality assessment.

• Lead development and implementation of state-of-the-art seed health testing protocols
• Manage a $1M operational budget and 5-year strategic projects
• Drive technological advancement in global seed health testing
• Represent Syngenta in industry platforms and initiatives
• Coach and develop team capabilities in quality control
• Collaborate across functions to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications: 

• PhD in Plant Pathology Plant Physiology Molecular Biology or related field
• Proven experience in developing diagnostic methods for plant pathogens
• Proven track record in leading scientific/technical programs
• Strong people management and development skills
• Excellent communication and influence skills across diverse audiences
• Experience working with technical commercial and manufacturing teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage change
