Job Summary

Mission 

Contribute to the design and delivery of sustainable resilient water infrastructure in the Metro Vancouver region by supporting multidisciplinary civil-water engineering teams through high-quality design work technical analysis coordination and field insight. 

Main Responsibilities 

 

  • Actively participate in the engineering design and preparation of drawings and specifications  

  • Participate in the realization of studies or technical reports  

  • Support in Project & Utilities Coordination  

  • Assist in completing design activities calculations engineering drawings specifications and regulatory applications throughout the projects.  

  • Assist Project Managers in project control and project administration throughout the projects.  

  • Using advanced computer software and technologies support in design and engineering drawings production  

  • Solve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis  

  • Support compliance with the quality assurance system  

  • Conduct site inspections as required to monitor construction progress  

  • Contribute to proposal preparation and business development initiatives  

  • Develop visual presentations 


Qualifications :

Profile 

  • Bachelors degree student in civil engineering  

  • Mastery of design and calculation tools  

  • Attention to detail and analytical skills  

  • Knowledge of software: MS Office MS Project AutoCAD (an asset) Civil 3D (an asset)  

  • Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment  

  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and proactively report on work progress  

  • Good communication and writing skills.  

The salary for this position ranges from $24.63 to $30.05 per hour depending on your academic profile the number of credits earned and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
