Job Summary

Location: NYC (Hybrid at least 4 days onsite/week)

Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian Mexican and French citizens).

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work on the trading floor. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python or C# and Javascript (React or Angular) and be passionate about developing new features for their trading platforms.

Role and responsibilities

Review and analyze business and technical requirements
Design build and support front-office web applications (frontend & backend) using a modern stack
Deliver scalable solutions that meet user needs and deadlines
Troubleshoot issues provide efficient fixes and document solutions
Own application streams with a high level of autonomy
Participate in testing to ensure application quality and stability
Proactively suggest improvements to processes and tooling
Lead the modernization of Excel-based tools while supporting existing workflows during transition

Qualifications :

3 years of experience in object-oriented programming C# or Python
2 years working with React or a similar modern frontend framework
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Curious adaptable and comfortable learning new domains
Able to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
Basic finance knowledge or willingness to learn (Repo Collateral Triparty)
Exposure to trading floor environments is a plus
Experience with Docker Kubernetes event-driven architectures DDD or VBA is a plus

Global bank collaboration (architect in Paris local ambassador)
Access to GitHub Copilot and Claude 4.5 Sonnet internal GPT agent
CI/CD pipelines with emphasis on code coverage and continuous delivery
