An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Securities & Capital Markets practice in Chicago.

This role is suited for an associate with experience advising on public and private securities offerings SEC reporting and ongoing compliance matters who is looking to further develop within a sophisticated corporate practice.

The Role

The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of securities and capital markets transactions including registered and unregistered offerings periodic reporting and related corporate governance matters. The practice offers consistent deal flow direct client interaction and meaningful responsibility within transactions.

Ideal Background

36 years of experience in corporate securities and capital markets matters
Experience with public and private offerings SEC reporting and compliance
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy
Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in
