Job Summary
Job title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Supervisory responsibilities: N/A
Summary/objective: Steel Craft Technologies (SCT) is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Belmont MI plant. The maintenance employee is responsible for addressing all facility and equipment maintenance issues.
While candidates with experience are preferred SCT is willing to train candidates with little to no experience who are eager to learn.
Essential functions:
Perform all maintenance activities whether preventative scheduled or unscheduled.
Maintain the maintenance schedule.
Pursue facility and equipment improvement as appropriate.
Perform equipment inspection.
Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
Candidate must be willing to come in early and stay late as needed.
Required competency education and experience:
- A basic familiarity with shop environments
- Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
- Candidate must have a valid drivers license.
- 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance position or similar.
- A basic understanding of common shop maintenance requirements.
Work environment: Manufacturing environment.
Physical demands:
Must have use of all limbs
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Position type and expected hours of work: Full time day shift.
Travel: None.
