Football West is the governing body for the world game in Western Australia and with over 230000 participants across the state were dedicated to making football accessible enjoyable and a great experience for all. As we continue to strengthen our community programs and support the legacy of the 2023 FIFA Womens World Cup were looking for passionate people to join our team.
The Role
Were seeking a Referee Support Officer to play a key role within our Referee Department. Youll support junior referees and assist with the administration allocation training and development of match officials across WA competitions.
- Appointing referees to matches and managing scheduling or availability issues.
- Serving as a key point of contact for referees clubs and associations.
- Managing referee registrations accreditation support and database accuracy.
- Assisting with education and training programs including course delivery and resource development.
- Helping drive continuous improvement within the Referee Department.
- Supporting junior referees including those in our Cadet Program.
- Responding to customer queries and CRM tickets.
- Promoting a safe enjoyable and supportive environment for all participants.
About You
If you enjoy working with people thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of growing the game across the state this role is for you.
- Knowledge of the IFAB Laws of the Game (desirable).
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Holds (or able to obtain) a Working With Children Check.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and make quick decisions.
- Strong customer service background with confidence handling a wide range of enquiries.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to work evenings and weekends as required.
