A results-driven Sales Engineer is sought to support growth in the Houston market. This remote-based role focuses on building and expanding customer relationships within industrial automation and manufacturing environments. The position combines technical expertise business acumen and relationship-building skills to help customers improve processes and drive measurable operational results.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their operations products and improvement goals
- Lead a structured sales process to define customer challenges and develop solution concepts
- Identify decision-makers and key stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
- Apply technical and application knowledge to deliver automation solutions
- Communicate effectively through digital platforms phone and in-person meetings
- Visit customer sites to evaluate equipment troubleshoot applications and present solutions
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities and prospect for future growth
- Stay current on automation industry trends and related technologies
- Meet performance goals focused on sales growth and new customer acquisition
Qualifications

37 years of technical sales experience preferred

Engineering or Business degree preferred
A background in industrial automation is an advantage

Strong communication skills across all organizational levels

Ability to sell in both remote and face-to-face environments

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
