In this position you will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of Embedded Linux based Industrial Platforms enabling manufacturing companies to rapidly develop deploy and scale advanced analytics and machine monitoring applications directly at the machine level.

- Design development and configuration of industrial Docker-based software platforms under Linux.
- Development of tests for industrial Linux application components using suitable automation tools
- Bring-up and integration of Linux operating system on new hardware platforms.
- Analysis and coordination of requirements with customers

- Degree in computer science software engineering electrical engineering or similar (masters / university degree)
- In-depth knowledge of Linux (x86 and ARM architecture) and experience in manipulating Linux device drivers (load unload replace etc) and in debugging Linux kernel boot problems and crashes;
- Experience in defining creating and managing Docker images (Docker Compose)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C C Java Python
- Experience with continuous integration test and delivery/build management with tools such as Gitlab Docker Artifactory Jenkins
- Proficient English skills and cultural openness
- Good self-management skills and a results-oriented attitude
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of industrial protocols such as MQTT OPC UA and REST API
- Experience with software automation and fleet management platform Ansible
- Knowledge of cloud technologies
- Familiar with Cybersecurity technologies (secure design certificate management encryption)
