The Adult Unit is specially designed for the treatment of adults 18 and older who are experiencing a variety of mental health diagnoses. Our team provides crisis stabilization services with a goal of moving patients to a less-intensive level of care as soon as is safe to do so.
As an Occupational Therapist you will:
- Perform a full range of occupational therapy services according to professional standards.
- Screen patients provide functional assessments develop goals and modalities for treatment plans and provide direct services for individuals and groups for assigned caseload.
- Document and report patient progress to treatment team and assists in training orienting and evaluating the performance of occupational therapy interns and volunteers.
Requires:
- Current knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice in the field of psychosocial dysfunction obtained through academic and clinical internship requirements of a Masters degree in occupational therapy.
- Must possess current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously during tenure in position.
