Logistician (Material Management)

• Coordinating material procurement storage and distribution activities to ensure timely support of mission-critical operations
• Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels through regular audits and data reviews to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Collaborating with supply chain and production teams to forecast material needs and implement cost-effective logistics strategies
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of material transactions inventory discrepancies and regulatory reporting
• Implementing corrective actions and process improvements to optimize logistical efficiency and support overall operational readiness

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

• Five plus years experience in a material management role
• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Demonstrated ability to manage material logistics operations including procurement inventory control and distribution in compliance with DoD standards
• Proficient in utilizing logistics management systems and ERP solutions to track inventory levels forecast material requirements and sustain operational readiness
• Possess an active DoD secret security clearance

• Familiarity with advanced supply chain optimization software and predictive analytics to enhance material management processes
• Proven leadership and team mentoring capabilities to support a collaborative cross-functional logistics environment
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination among procurement production and logistics teams
