The Role:

We are seekingaSenior Specialistto join our team to help supportsitesinAurora IL and Green Bay WI.The SeniorSpecialistprovides financial decision support for the assigned manufacturing plants and is a key business partner to Plant Management in theMaterials Solutions(MS)Division. The individuals responsibilities are toassistin the maintenance of theplant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report tothePlant Finance Lead.

WhatYoullDo:

Analyzeunderstandand interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management inidentifyingopportunities for improvement.

Supportmonthly/annualforecasting/budgeting;

Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with OperationalMSDivision and Corporate goals;

Support the establishment ofstandard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost BOM and routings for cost roll;

Support and review proposedproductivity projects;

Review/explainmanufacturingvariances;

Business/Operationsdecisionsupportthrough analysis;

Providetimelyplant results and drive accountability;

Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plantsare properlystatedand conform togenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) including inventory valuations and reserve amounts;

Provide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employees.

What We Seek:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Financewith 3-5years experience;

Financialmodeling andanalysis experience;

Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;

Knowledge ofgenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts;

Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills;

Ability to work independently in a fast paced dynamic global environment;

Proactive future-looking positive attitude;

Proficient SAPExceland PowerPoint skills; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus;

Strong communicationskills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partners.

OutstandingCandidatesWillHave:

Strong communicationskills;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;

Successful business partnership with site business unit and division leadership through forecast/budget alignmenttimelycommunication of financial results/risks/opportunities and adhoc analyses/modeling support;

Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement through identification vetting and tracking of improvement projects.

Compensation: $90000-$115000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
